Who we are
This site is run by Paramodel Ltd, trading as Paramodel Studios, an independent games studio in the United Kingdom that makes Pro Tennis Manager, Pro Racing Manager and Pro Cricket Manager. Paramodel Ltd is the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us about your data at privacy@paramodel.co.uk.
The short version
- The website sets no cookies, runs no trackers and keeps no visitor statistics.
- If you join the mailing list, we keep your email address so we can send you news about the games you picked. That's all we use it for.
- We never sell or share your address for anyone else's marketing.
- Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
The mailing list
What we collect. Your email address; the date and time you signed up and confirmed; and the IP address you signed up from. We keep the date, time and IP address as a record of your consent.
Why, and our legal basis. To send you development updates, behind-the-scenes looks and news about betas and the release of the games you chose. We rely on your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations). You give it by signing up and then clicking the confirmation link we email you. Until you click it, you won't get anything else from us.
Tracking in our emails. We count how many people open an email or click a link in total, so we know what's useful. We don't record which individual subscriber opened or clicked what.
How long we keep it. Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If you sign up but never confirm, we delete your address after 30 days. Our database backups are kept for 14 days, so a deleted address is gone from every copy within 14 days.
Who handles your data for us
- Akamai Technologies (Linode) hosts this website and our mailing-list database on a server in London, UK.
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) delivers our emails. Your address passes through Brevo when we send to you. Brevo processes it in the EU, which the UK recognises as giving adequate protection.
Both act only on our instructions, under data-processing terms. Our mailing-list software (listmonk) runs on our own server, so your address isn't held in a third-party marketing platform.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or take a copy. You can withdraw your consent at any time. The link at the bottom of every email lets you unsubscribe, download your data or wipe it yourself. Or email privacy@paramodel.co.uk and we'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Cookies
This website doesn't set any cookies or store anything on your device. Everything on the page, including fonts and images, is served from our own server. If we ever add cookies or embedded content from other sites, we'll update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Children
The mailing list is for people aged 13 and over. If you're under 13, please don't sign up.
Changes
If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If it's a significant change, we'll also tell you by email.
